On Johns (2/11)
I agree with the Community Conflicts and Diversity
section. The quote on page 305 "In other cases, community membership
requires a long initiatory process, and even though there is no
guarantee of success.", because I can relate to it so well right now. I
am currently pledging for Kappa Alpha Order here, and I know the process
is quite long. I also know that I may not succeed in becoming a
brother, which is exactly what Ann Johns was talking about. I can relate
pretty much anything she has said about joining a community because a
fraternity is a community, and I agree with everything she had to say
about it.
