On Tierney & Pearson (1/23)
2: planning - set your goals and use your knowledge
Drafting - use brainstormed ideas to start your writing
Aligning - make the reader understand your writing
Revising - reexamining and redeveloping what you wrote
Monitoring - examining your final product to make sure all elements are used
3: I don't really use these five elements much when I write. Sometimes I
brainstorm, but hardly ever do I make drafts. I just sort of write what
comes to my mind, edit as I go, and edit the whole writing when I
finish for my final draft.
